The Tehama County Juvenile Detention Facility (JDF) is operated by the Tehama County Probation Department. The county states that the JDF provides a safe and secure environment for detained youth and now also houses Secure Youth Treatment Facility (SYTF) youth as part of the post-DJJ state transition.
The county’s current JDF inquiry form lists the Juvenile Justice Center at 1790 Walnut Street, Red Bluff, CA 96080, with phone (530) 527-5380 and fax (530) 527-2717. The JDF can house up to 50 youth and currently serves Tehama along with contracted youth from Siskiyou, Plumas, Lassen, Glenn, Lake, and Trinity counties.
