Herbert Hughes Correctional Center (HHCC) is an Imperial County Sheriff’s Office jail facility on the El Centro jail campus. It provides dormitory-style housing for sentenced incarcerated persons.
HHCC houses the working kitchen that serves all three jail facilities and is a primary site for educational, GED, high-school diploma, family-reunification, and reentry programs. For jail and visitation questions, call the shared Jail Information line at (442) 265-2266; there is no separate HHCC public phone listing.
