The Wayne Brown Correctional Facility is the main adult booking and housing facility operated by the Nevada County Sheriff’s Office. It is named after former Nevada County Sheriff Wayne Brown.
The facility is located at 950 Maidu Avenue, Nevada City, CA 95959, with a public phone line at (530) 265-1291. Nevada County also directs the public to the incarcerated-person visitation list for custody and visiting information.
