Rio Cosumnes Correctional Center (RCCC) is the Sacramento County Sheriff’s current south-county jail at 12500 Bruceville Road, Elk Grove, CA 95757. The sheriff describes RCCC as the primary custody facility for people sentenced to county jail, with additional pre-sentence housing, contract federal prisoners, and reciprocal prisoners from other counties.
Current sheriff pages list the RCCC public line as (916) 874-1927 and note that the facility accepts newly arrested people booked by law-enforcement agencies in the south part of Sacramento County. Current inmate mail instructions route correspondence through the Sacramento RCCC Securus Digital Mail Center rather than directly to the Bruceville Road jail.
