Oren R. Fox Medium Security Detention Facility

Oren R. Fox Medium Security Detention Facility (OFDF) is the current medium-security jail facility on the Imperial County Sheriff’s Office El Centro corrections campus. The sheriff’s current Corrections-Jail page states that OFDF opened for housing in September 2018, has six two-tier housing units plus a four-bed medical component, and provides a total bed space of 274 beds.

The same current sheriff page explains that OFDF was built to expand programming and staff-training space across the jail system after grant-funded construction that began in 2016. Because the sheriff office does not publish a separate standalone OFDF street-address page, this record uses the same El Centro jail campus contact path and shared Jail Information line, (442) 265-2266, currently published for the corrections complex.
