Camp Glenwood was San Mateo County’s former boys’ camp at 400 Log Cabin Road, La Honda, CA 94020. The current 2024-2025 Juvenile Justice Commission update states that Camp Glenwood ceased operations in 2018 and was formally closed on March 19, 2019 after serving justice-involved male youth for 58 years.
The same current update states that the County finalized a lease in 2024 allowing CAL FIRE to use the former Camp Glenwood property as the Glenwood Fire Center. This page is therefore maintained as a closed historical youth-camp record rather than a live youth-detention listing.
