The Sonoma County Main Adult Detention Facility (MADF) is located at 2777 Ventura Avenue in Santa Rosa as part of the Hall of Justice Complex. Current sheriff detention pages direct visitors to call (707) 565-1400 on Tuesday through Friday between 3:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. to schedule personal visitation appointments. Current 2025 mail-guidelines pages also route non-privileged mail through Pigeonly using the booking number and facility code 2000, while legal mail and publisher-direct books or periodicals continue to go directly to the facility.
